EKI 4.1 MAKING BREAD
Students in year 4 have been working about the process of making bread: since the seeds are grown, the cereal (wheat) is taken to the mill to get the flour and all the ingredients are mixed to bake the dough in the oven until finally the bread is ready to eat.
At the end of the unit, they made different bread rolls at home following the recipe worked in class. On the videos underneath 👇 you can see what different shapes and sizes they prepared.

EKI ENGLISH 4.3 "Our special bikes"
As the final project of the 3rd unit in English, 4th graders have designed and presented amazing bikes for people with special needs. Who knows, maybe we'll see them in a future.
EKI year 4: Experiment with yeast
In this first unit of the 4th grade the pupils are working on food and food waste.
Today in English class, we learnt that yeast is a microorganism and that when mixed with sugar it releases a gas called carbon dioxide that makes the balloon bigger.
We also learnt that the same microorganism is used in bread as a raising agent, to double its size.
