Final project 4.5: " playing games" by year 4

Year 4 has come to an end and the proof of which are the following videos. 4th graders along with their families's help have chosen one of the many games we have been working in unit 4.5 " In the playground".

My backpack challenge by year 3.

Ummmmmmmm at this time of the year we are usually thinking about our holidays, aren't we?
Imagine you are getting ready to go! What kind of clothes, shoes and objects would you take in your backpack or your suitcase? Would it be the same if you were planning on going to the beach, or to the mountains, or to visit an interesting city? Surely not, have a look at what year 3 students have chosen to take!!!



Karaoke challenge by year 4

Do you fancy karaoke? Then you have come to the right place!.
 Last week, we suggested year 4 pupils to choose a song they liked on lyric training" website and to sing it as they were in a karaoke. We 've got future artists here!!





LH3 NO THUMBS CHALLENGE

Would you like to try to do daily things with just four fingers? It could be even more dificult if the missing finger is the thumb. Look at LH3 students, they did it!!

20 SECONDS CHALLENGE BY YEAR 3

"Clapping Hands" game" CHALLENGE by LH4

Are you bored? you don't know what to play while being locked down? In that case, you've come to the right place. Enjoy watching year 4 pupils and their families playing two clapping games: "Days of the Week" and Great Gorilla" games. SUPERB!!

PICTURE FRAME CHALLENGE YEAR 3

This was our challenge proposal for year 3 students last week: MAKING A PICTURE FRAME. They have created little pieces of art with such easy material as an egg box. INCREDIBLE! You can see on the videos what nice frames and pictures they have included in them. Enjoy it! 





Queenie challenge by LH4

Within unit 5 in EKI "Olinpikoak gara",  year 4 students have been playing plenty of games in English class. Among them: Black shoe, Queenie, Days of the week and  Great big gorilla clapping games. 
The families implication has been incredible, thank you so much and well done!

MOTHER'S DAY POP UP CARD challenge YEAR 3

Same as in year 4, we suggested students to prepare a nice card to give their mums as a present on their day, 3rd of May. 
On the following video you can see the different cards they made with some easy material that you may have at home.
They are superb! 👌

MOTHER'S DAY CHALLENGE BY LH4

Did you know that in most countries Mother's day is celebrated on 2nd Sunday in May (this year 10th May) among them: most European countries, USA, New Zealand, Australia, India, China, Japan...USA?

In the Basque country it is also celebrated on a different date: this year it was celebrated on 3rd May. It is a very special occasion for children to give presents to their hardworking mums. Year 4 students have also thought about their mums and have created incredible cards to give them.  Click on the video below if you want to see them. AWESOME job! guys!


MIMING GAME CHALLENGE YEAR 3

   A funny way to practise new vocabulary words is by miming and trying to guess them. Year 3 students and their families have put this game into practice. Here you can see the reports they have sent about it as well as a couple of videos . 👀👀👀

EASTER CHALLENGE YEAR 3

At Easter holidays we proposed different challenges to year 3 students: Easter egg bunny hugs, funny rabbits filled with chocolates; paper bouble chicks to decorate any little spot at home and last but not least, a challenge related to songs and dancing, click on the video below to enjoy them!


LH4 EASTER CHALLENGES

Last Easter holidays, we suggested some brand new challenges to be done in year 4. One of the challenges was to prepare a birthday card for somebody you care.
